Police Sergeant Reprimanded For Obscene Gestures

The Mesa police sergeant who made an obscene gesture at a group of pro-immigration pickets last month was given a written reprimand, must attend a First Amendment training session, and must talk to the department’s patrol shifts about what he learned in the session, according to an Internal Affairs report released Tuesday.
