I think its prejudiced to use the teaser "how to tone up the white race" as a segway into the kookiest white cracka idea imaginable as somehow apt to describe all so called white people(also the descendents of many mixtures of tribes who might more fairly be called "the northerners" of euro-anglo descent because they settled in colder climes after their trek from Africa a few thousand millenia before. The vast vast majority of white people don't wake up each morning thinkng "oh I am white and now I must have my Kelloggs breakfast and get ready for my white job after I donn my white clothes and feed my white dog sammy."
They just wake up as people getting ready to start their day. Its wrong to dehumanize "people" by using the excuse they are white, or have a different color of hair, or eat white icing poptarts as a conspiracy code of brotherhood. Aryan nation "people" are just a bunch of immature kids in adult bodies playing tree fort games, unfortunately with a bizarre selfish outlook and penchant for bullying and keeping in their little closed circle of like minded "brothers". The rest of white society rejects them, fought them in world war 11 at great loss of life to themselves and passed laws world wide to prevent their resurgence. They don't see them as white people: they see them as an evil criminal gang, antisocial, and an embarrassment. I think the Southern Poverty Law center needs remember that lots of poor people include college students and young people learning a trade, serving in the military, doing missionary work, as well as elders working simple low paying jobs or struggling to survive on social security after a lifetime of underpaid work. It also includes alternative lifestylers, hippies, beats, all shapes of bohemians, drop outs and single working mothers, lost souls, those with mental illnesses, criminal records that make them unemployable, people stuffed away in dehumanizing soul destroying prisons, failed bankrupt rural farmers, chicken factory workers, cow herders, and you name it. These are also good people who live in poverty and they deserve better and yes many of them are white, white, white and have more in common with people of color if you insist on racializing everything than they have in common with the ruling class, most of whom are white. I mean, come on, be a little objective, a little inclusive, a little less blamming of people just because you see them as white. Get a change of lenses, and have the curiosity to grow up. Take the challenge. We are all first people before we are any guild card carrying members if at all. Drop that crutch and get out in the world of people, real people, not just the ones who reinforce your myopic self serving view. That makes you Aryan brotherhood material if you haven't looked at yourself with sunglasses on in a dim room too.

What the heck do I say here?

I mean what is even on a self-improvement tape to make you a better white person?

"Jerking off to pictures of Asian schoolgirls is not good. It makes you a race traitor."

I'm just imagining a tape that tells you how unattractive non-white women are or something.

I mean what is there to say about this without getting in to the realm of mockery?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but questions have actually been raised as to the efficacy of subliminal-message tapes and recordings in past; there do happen to be a number of scholarly studies which suggest this.

Too, the supposed "testimonial" should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt; section 13 of the Advertising Code of the Council of Better Business Bureaux explains scenarios where advertising using testimonials or endorsements could risk being seen as misleading, as does 16 CFR 255 (Federal Trade Commission Guides for Testimonials and Endorsements in Advertising).

In particular:
<blockquote>
Where the testimonial is insincere or does not otherwise reflect the timely opinion of the endorser;

Where the testimonial contains ellipses, indicating that such is not being quoted in its entire (raising questions of meaning and impact being diluted or compromised);

Where it turns out that the endorser is not qualified to give a clear opinion about the effectiveness of, or results to be derived from, use of the product;

Where the endorser is from a well-known and highly-respected institution or agency, and the ad fails to disclose that the opinions are solely his, and not otherwise reflecting those of his workplace;

Where broad claims "implying endorsement or approval by indefinitely large or vague groups" (<b><i>e.g.</b></i>, "the homeowners of America" or "the doctors of America") are made; and

Where it turns out that the endorser has an undisclosed financial interest in the product/service being thus endorsed.
