After being found guilty in England of publishing race-hate articles on the Internet, Simon Sheppard and Stephen Whittle jumped bail and turned up in Los Angeles, where they’re being held by immigration officials after claiming asylum.

    The most effective way to combat hate is through parents education. So often, parents unwittingly spout racial hatred or racial differences, without even knowing they do it. Somehow we need to educate all Americans how to talk responsibly to their children, friends, and family. People don’t really know what terms are politically correct without being told by some outside source.

    The news agencies gives us so much negative press. I think that we need to dictate to these news agencies, the responsibility to address hate words for free on television.

    I’m remembering when I was young and ABC had the cartoon commercials about grammar, legislating and counting, etc. Why can’t they come up with something in that arena that could be broadcasted everywhere?
