BTW– anyone know if the SPLC is involved in voter registration efforts to register minority voters? The White supremacists in charge of many state legislatures, especially the racists who run places like Florida and Arizona, have put many obstacles in place to make registration difficult, including fees and restricting registration drives to particular times of day. We could definitely use the help of a large institution like SPLC to help overcome these obstacles.

I’d say that the biggest need for such registration drives is in states such as: Florida, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, New Jersey, Arizona, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina and California. Blacks and Latinos have been effectively disenfranchised here, and SPLC can help to register. We’d greatly appreciate your help!
