Hispanics in the US have an average I.Q. of 89, while blacks score on average, as a group, 85, but keep in mind many mixed race blacks are counted within that group, so there is some misrepresentation involved.

But, after writing the above, I have to say that I.Q. is not accurate enough to obtain overall intellectual ability, as it doesn’t consider many things; however, unfortunately, the abilities the testing does not cover involve those that blacks are lacking as well.

Research reveals that in cases where blacks score about the same on I.Q. tests as another group, they don’t do as well overall and still can’t seem to advance themselves as the comparative group has done. This would be strong evidence of having less abilities in areas not covered by I.Q. tests.
