Klan Rally Prompts Relocation Of Harvest Festival

Donalsonville, Ga. business leaders voted to relocate the annual Harvest Festival away from a courthouse where the Georgia Knight Riders intend to hold a Klan rally on Oct. 18, the same day as the festival.

Good, go far away, very far away from the decent folks. The message will be clear, your ignorance and hatred will NOT be tolerated in a civil society…especially a genteel society of Southerners.

Klans and their little rallies are scarcely ever noticed these days. They don’t pose much influence on the general society as they did in their glory days. Many of their rallies usually consist of about 30 people or less in most rural areas. And I say they are insignificant as they are ineffective. So let them have their little pow wow and they will be forgotten tomorrow.
