Unfortunate, sad, action misdirected. This is not how you lift up a population. Ready and able to defend yourself is a long long way from an invitation to violence.
Crooks and Liars had a good item today, on the need for respect. A lack theirof is a part of anybodies racism.

As an African-American women, I find Shabazz’s comments, as vile, hateful and disgusting as those of the KKK, SWA, National Alliance and any other group that promotes the killing, destruction or harm of another person based purely on race/ethnic background. I say put them all on a very remote island and let them battle it out. Then when a victor is announce, Nuke the Island.

Ms. LaTrice, I Love your creative thinking. As a white man I find ALL of their comments, idesas, way of thought disgusting and vile as well, not to mention ignorant! But your idea is by far the best I have heard My whole life. My solution was .22 caliber between the eyes, I would treat them just like I would a terrorist! As a teacher I explained to my students that bigotry needed two things to exist: a low self esteem and not taking responsibility for reaching your potential. When people have a sense of not bring happy with themselves and their situation, and blame everyone else for for their failures, then the need to pick on someone who is percieved as a threat, or who is perceived as having more than you is exhibited. When you feel good about yourself and make every effort to succeed then you do not need to pick on someone else to make yourself feel bigger or better. Let’s all pray for the poor misguided that they find themselves and do no have the need to hate others. AMEN!

I guess the SPLC feels for the sake of fairness and diversity they should include this black trash as an example of hate, but let’s face the fact that the SPLC could really care less about what happens to white people.

Uh… Does this guy realize that first of all…not all white people are even connected to slavery. My family, for instance, came from a part of the world unrelated to America or the slavery that occurred in the USA. And….what about the African people who were specifically involved in selling their own people and loading them on the boats to America? No one seems to remember that huh? For me, it makes no sence for a sentient, intelligent adult to dislike a person they do not know – because of race or anything else. I guess this guy is an emotive-level animal. He says he had an “awakening” – no – he discovered anger, and has not risen above that into intellectual solutions.

I don’t know why the press pays this man any attention. I suppose for the sensationalist value of his schtick. It’s certainly not for his profound insight.
Samir Shabazz and the Philadelphia NBPP are a joke. He’s going to have a tough time seeking the total destruction of White people via the Philadelphia NBPP. Which consists of himself and Jerry Jackson. Two individuals barely constitutes a Party.
