Heinous! What has humanity come to??? Considering Hemet is so close to Mexicali and El Centro, CA you would think this young man would have been assimilated to the local demographic by now. Migration is economic and political. Education is the key to break these vicious cycles of ignorance and hatred. Please keep up your good work and know that you have many people rallying behind your efforts to bring these perpetrators to justice!

I think it is terrible, horrendous, unchristian, and unamerican
behavior that needs the sentencing for life in prison for all
involved in such an act.

“He is being held on lieu of $1 million bail.”
It doesn’t appear that he`ll be getting out anytime soon, until the jury trail gets underway.
“He is being held on suspicion of attempted murder, committing a hate crime, belonging to a street gang, committing a felony as part of a criminal street gang.”
If he is found guilty on all of the charges above. I’m sure the sentencing phrase will be harsh and punishable to the full extent of the law. And I hope Justice will prevail.

This is my nephew and unfortunately he had a really rough childhood. Both parents on drugs, in and out of jail. My husband and I both took care of him and his 2 brothers for over 3 years – thought we had them on the right track! Justin, Dave and their father Gary are all racists! We taught them better than that – I guess it didn’t stick. Kinda of hard to deny the fact the you’re a Coors bro – when you have it tatooed on your chest. Guilty – you bet he is – if not this crime then some other. Sad but true

He deserved it. He was also very cocky in court, right in front of me (one of the jurors that decided it was time for him to go away for a while). Hayes liked the gang mentality anyway, he’ll get alot of that in his 25 years or more of jailtime.
One of the Jurors.
