    Driving around at 3:30AM with an aluminum bat in your SUV is a pretty good sign you’re on a mission to bash someone to prove your “manliness” to your bros. Having to prove your manliness is a good sign you don’t have a clue what it is to be a real man.
    Be on the lookout for a maroon SUV driven by a black man on the down low terrified at being found out by his posse.
    I’m sad for the victim and family of these “Disciples of Stupid Misconception”

    My gut reaction to this horrible crime is that it is so terrible that we MUST do things to publicize it and warn others to protect themselves. The criminals must be caught and punished in accordance with the law. My condolences to the family of the victim…if only we could bring him back…

    You mean they actually identified their race as
    being black. The SPLC must be trying to put
    up some pretense of being fair to all races.

    I am a Mexican born in Mexico and natualized in 1986, and I am really worried about how hate crimes are on the rise. I encourage anyone and everyone to tell friends, relatives, neighbors to help SPLC to continue to bring these type of issues to the forefront. I know that with our “corporate media,” it is rare to get the facts on important news to all of us.

    Wow. A hate crime, committed by…..a minority. Which means that Whites aren’t the only racists, but Blacks as well.

    For all it’s worth…
    I am a musician, born & raised in the United States but made in Ecuador. I have dealt with racism all my life, from every direction. I saw how my parents were mistreated, I was told by a teacher in school that all my people were good for was to work at car washes, I was spit on by white kids calling me a spic and my best friend a nigger, because I am light skinned and a Rocker, I had to deal with Latinos calling me names like Blanco, Gringo, etc . . . Now as an adult, I use these experiences to send a message of unity,equality,for everyone to know their basic human rights through my music; although to be honest, my first reaction is one of retaliation, because of what I have been through.
    I could go on forever about this subject.
