    You know… it’s funny… man has changed.

When I was younger and was angry at someone and wanted to punch them out… I never felt the need to “go get the boys” to help me fight.

I took care of my problems by-my-self… these youngsters now are such cowards.

Whats wrong with youth today… this gang stuff is happening all around the world… have we raised a generation of “Girly Men”.

Wanting to punch someone out and / or beat them half to death simply because you are angry with that person or hate them because they are a certain minority is a part of the problem…

Clark, I think you’re forgetting the days when the KKK were “mainstream” – when a sizeable rowd of white robed cowards would pull a terrified man (or child) out of his home in the middle of the night, torture and lynch him – oh, I forget, thery targeted women and babies too – what brave “men” they were! Man has not changed, that’s why organizations like the SPLC need to be vigilant!

This to Anna C: It is a fairly natural (and very common) response to WANT to smack someone or beat them to a pulp when angry with them. It’s the DOING of it that is troublesome (said as an understatement).

Most people have these urges and know how to curb them. And many of us who were around at the onset of all the video games tend to believe that the exposure to violence with no consequences (in games, TV, movies etc.) leads to more violence in real life. The number of incidences in schools has risen considerably since I was in high school and I can only think that this is a contributing factor ~ not the cause but a contributing factor.
