African-American community leaders have asked Dallas City council members to investigate. Former DART employee Rebecca Williams is among at least five people who have filed federal discrimination complaints against their old bosses, with Williams claiming she was fired after complaining about being ordered to hire Hispanics. Community leaders have met with DART officials looking for answers and found nothing but frustration. They took their complaint to City Hall hoping that city council members would take an interest, but only council member Dwaine Carroway appeared to reach out. Carroway and other council members' powers are limited to appointing eight of DART's 15 board members. Please do a story on this problem, Thank you.

African-American community leaders have asked Dallas City council members to investigate.

Former DART employee Rebecca Williams is among at least five people who have filed federal discrimination complaints against their old bosses, with Williams claiming she was fired after complaining about being ordered to hire Hispanics.

Community leaders have met with DART officials looking for answers and found nothing but frustration.
