As a native North Carolinian, this makes me feel sick. Our great state should never stand for this sort of craziness. Hope you will contact our new governor, Beverly Perdue , and let’s start at the top to counteract this poisonous behavior. Thank you for everything you’ve been doing for years.

maybe not against the law there, but it is elsewhere. This is sick and should be prosecuted

It may be against the law too. Fliers and other such things that are not distributed by the post office should never make it into mail boxes because it is against the law…These things, no matter what they are, can be looked as tampering with the mail and because of the material can also be looked upon as a hate crime.

I read it was a Federal Crime to put anything inside someone’s mailbox other than a Federal Employee. The local police lady repping the case for the police dept. isn’t learned on the laws and claimed they had a right to express views based on the First Ammendment but bypassed the fact that they trespassed on private property.

If someone distributed recruitment flyers to my property I’d want a tresspass crime and hate crime charge against them.
