Report: Tom Tancredo Suggests Immigrants to America Must Adopt ‘White, Anglo-Saxon Culture’

Immigrant-bashing former congressman Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) has a long record of making outrageous statements. In 2003, for example, while campaigning with a Senate candidate in Illinois, Tancredo said that undocumented immigrants “are coming here [to America] to kill you and to kill me and our families.” In 2005, he told an Orlando, Fla., talk radio host that the United States should “take out” Mecca and other Islamic holy sites in response to a terrorist attack by Muslim extremists.
But rarely — if ever — has the founder of the hard-line nativist Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus so expressly advocated a white nationalist point of view as he reportedly did two days ago in a speech at American University.
“Throughout history, people who are not white Anglo-Saxon have become American by adopting a white Anglo-Saxon culture,” Tancredo said, according to an account on Diamondback Online, a student newspaper at the University of Maryland. “Today, this cult of multiculturality emphasizes our differences — things that pull us apart instead of bringing us together.” The online newspaper also said that Tancredo identified Latinos and Muslims as members of “problem” cultures.
The event was organized by Youth for Western Civilization, a new “right-wing youth” group with direct ties to the white nationalist hate website VDARE.com.

The next disaster, the commercial real estate crash, is just a few weeks away. It will dwarf the sub-prime crash. Notice the empty spaces in the malls and other business buildings already?
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but we must all face reality and prepare for it. Take this as a kooky cautionary warning at your own risk.
I’d advise everybody, especially those in urban areas, to stock up on canned goods, water, arms and ammo. I hate to sound like a right wing survivalist, but I’d rather be thought a hunkered down fool than an unprepared corpse.
This situatuation is highly critical. The big shots have their money in gold and other commodities and have possession of them, so they know they’ll be o.k. Some of them think this will be just food and tax riots easily handled by the police, but it will be far worse.
We could have as long as mid 2010 or as soon as the Fall of this year, but I’m preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
I hope I’m wrong. I’d rather have egg on my face than see the land I love so much embroiled in the chaotic
result of a complete economic collapse.

Playing dress up like a hitler youth? And committing hatecrimes? And then being hoarded off to prison?

Staging small and ineffectively pointless rallies only to bombarded by opposition forces 10 times larger than them?
Putting out trite fliers that nobody give a hoot about?
Or how about the killing of White women such as in the case of Ray Charles and the “Dixie Brotherhood”?
Whatever that is, I can’t figure out what this guy is trying to imply by adopting a “white anglo-saxon culture”. No wonder this moron was never that successful as a Congressman. The guy is a loon. Plain and simple.

That’s a good question. Although perplexed, I can’t figure out what this Tom Tancredo meant by “suggesting that immigrants to America, must adopt white, Anglo-Saxon culture.” If its based on “unwritten tradition and custom?”

I ran a Google on Mr. Celente, Irv, and he certainly seems to be an honest objective man. What he is saying on his latest video is chilling indeed.

And I checked some of Whitney’s writings, and likewise he seems to be politically objective with no biases for or against anything he writes. He said more derivatives were traded in Europe than the US, making them more likely to fall than we are. These sub-prime investment packages were sold in every European financial institution.
None of the major US news sources are giving us all the news, and I’m wondering why. There is one exception. The NYT has a piece describing the entire fiasco from beginning to the present in it’s last edition, but I didn’t get a link for it. They sounded as gloomy as Peter Schiff and even worse than Roubini.
I think all the charities are going to be hurting and hurting badly. Even the big shots aren’t going to be able to keep funding them, and employment, in real figures, could reach 30%, which would constitute a disaster of giant proportions.
I think the US will never recover to its original glory and will be at third world status in a few years.
As they used to say back in the old west, “Watch your topknot and keep your powder dry.”

Glad to hear it that he’s no longer in Congress. And to be frank, extremists have no place in Congress, let alone in the federal government. To have such extremists like Tom Tancredo in Congress would surely be a disaster for our ethnically diverse Nation. No matter who founded it centuries ago, does not or have not meant to be for a singled specific racial group. For those who are seeking segregation and apartheid like policies should feel free to leave this country if they cannot learn to co-exist freely with other racial groups. Because the way I see it, this country will never be a segregated Nation as it once did around the Civil War era. That’s all in the past folks. All in the past…..

On behalf of all Coloradoans, I would like to apologize to the rest of the nation for giving you Tom Tancretin.
What kind of name is “Tancredo” anyway? Certainly not a White Anglo Saxon Protestant name!! Wiki says Tancretin’s grandparents were Italian citizens.
As a WASP myself, and more white than Tancretin, I’d like to disagree vehemently with his idiotic sentiments. Believe me, you do NOT want the entire population of the US acting like Skip and Muffy at the country club!!
Tancretin should put his money where his mouth is. He should be prohibited from celebrating any of his Italian heritage, since he believes he should act WASP. Sorry, Tancretin, no more pasta dishes or using Italian phrases. Not WASP enough, so you are not allowed. And forget going to Catholic mass or the Columbus Day parade.
I doubt Tancretin actually intends to act WASP himself and will continue to celebrate his foreign heritage. But then we in Colorado have always known he’s a big blowhard and a hypocrite.
Diversity is what makes our nation great and what will overcome the serious challenges we face today. Not a bunch of WASP country club types sitting around making deals. That’s what got us into this mess!!

James Burnham is an interesting writer. Even as he had declared himself to be a devote anti-communist, he also was very aware of the problems associated with “Democracy” (capital “D”) in that mob rule would not serve society as a productive concept.
He had written a book entitled “The Machiavellians”.
The Machiavellians is sub-titled Defenders of Freedom. Machiavelli and his followers taught that in politics decency simply does not exist, and, by doing so, Burnham claims, made it possible to conduct political affairs more intelligently and less oppressively. A ruling class which recognized that its real aim was to stay in power would also recognize that it would be more likely to succeed if it served the common good, and might avoid stiffening into a hereditary aristocracy (witness Clinton, Bush). Burnham lays much stress on Pareto’s theory of the ‘circulation of the élites’. If it is to stay in power a ruling class must constantly admit suitable recruits from below, so that the ablest men may always be at the top and a new class of power-hungry malcontents cannot come into being. This is likeliest to happen, Burnham considers, in a society which retains democratic habits – that is, where opposition is permitted and certain bodies such as the press and the trade unions can keep their autonomy.
The thrust of his work being that there is always an aristocracy, even in a Republic because there exists the “professional politician”.
His works appeared to be contradictory. but from this reader’s perspective that was just a certain level of intellectual honesty on his part. He certainly didn’t devote his critiques to Leftists alone.

White Anglo-Saxon culture in America is what the rest of the world refers to as Western Enlightenment values, including those pesky little things people yourself like to throw in other people’s faces, usually words such as “Freedom”, “Democracy” and “Human Rights”. But lets just get rid of them since the immigrants don’t share our values, right???
Seriously now, do you honestly believe that Latinos and Muslims share Western Enlightenment values? If you honestly think they do then I suggest you move to their country for a few months and then tell me I’m wrong. In fact, chances are if you quote “Freedom”, “Democracy” or “Human Rights” to the authorities in a country like Saudi Arabia (the home of Islam) you’ll find your head removed from its shoulders. You are ignorant. White, Anglo-Saxons did not find America. Native Americans found american long before White, Anglo-Saxons stepped onto the land. If I’m not mistaken, that means that white, Anglo-Saxons should assimliate to Native American ways.
