There is no room in the United States for hate crimes or any other type of crime stemming from someone else’s religious or personal views. We are a nation that prides itself on the first amendment and the rights it protects.
Hate crimes violate that right to freedom of speech as outlined in the first amendment as well as the right to practice a religion. Be an American…Stand up to hate!

I have lived in SLC previously. I didn’t know there was the NSM operating out of SLC, which is largely Mormon country by the way. Nevertheless, the NSM or any other WN group are not well liked, respected anywhere. Just because SLC is the whitest city in the nation, it does not mean that neo-Nazi ldealogy is welcomed there. In fact most Mormons detest it entirely. I’ve seen whites fight whites all the time while I lived there. Its no different from any other city.
