Mississippi Resolution Dies Over Link to Racist Leader
In what amounted to a reversal, the Mississippi House has killed a resolution commemorating an occasion hosted by a white supremacist.
The move came one month after House lawmakers adopted the resolution designating March 2, 2009, “The Spirit of America Day” in recognition of exceptional male student athletes in Mississippi. The resolution was held for reconsideration after some House lawmakers argued that it was unacceptable to promote “The Spirit of America Day” events because they’re organized by Richard Barrett, an attorney in Learned, Miss., who heads a white supremacist hate group called the Nationalist Movement. Representatives ultimately let the resolution die when they recessed this week.
Among those advocating the resolution’s demise was Rep. Robert Johnson (D-Natchez). “When we give validation to something, we need to be careful about who we give it to,” he said, according to The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, Miss. (However, a similar resolution commemorating “The Spirit of America Day” successfully passed the Senate in late February.)
In another defeat for Barrett, an appeals court upheld a judge’s decision related to his group’s protest against six black teenagers in Jena, La., who were subjected to unusually harsh prosecutions. The Nationalist Movement wanted the judge to rule on the case of two protesters who weren’t allowed to carry firearms during the protest, but the judge refused to do so because they didn’t belong to Barrett’s organization, according to The Associated Press. For years, Barrett has organized white power marches throughout the United States.

I’m elated to hear that this resolution was killed, pending the connection between Richard Barrett and a white supremacist hategroup he is said to be a leader of. It should be a strong message hurled out to all white extremists that their views and connections, no matter how decieving their non-profit organizations may be. Is not welcome in nearly 99% of the U.S. Society. We should not allow the enemy create such events that benifits their agendas or their purposes based on the concepts of race. That is as un-American as neo-Nazism.

What about the whites that attack every nonwhite? whites who still harbor vitriol over Blacks in the deep south, South Carolina and elsewhere? And since I am a proud Native, how about white on Indian hatecrimes in Rapid City, SD?(since it wasn’t reported by the SPLC, several white teenagers were convicted of random shootings on Natives using BBguns which was reported 2 weeks ago by the local news source and indian related news).
Or how about the growing white on Latino hatecrimes nationwide?
Or worst yet, the growing trend of white “lone wolf” mass murder sprees resulting in the deaths of many whites and some nonwhites?(i.e. See the latest Pittsburg shootings in which 3 officers lost their lives). The gunman in this incident did not have a good reasonable justification for such a shooting, that’s devastating to the law enforcement community. Other than to indicate that he ‘feared” Barack Obama and his administration.
Talk about reading too much propaganda from the neo-KKKon or the WN.
P.S. If you plan to bring up purported crimes committed by illegal aliens, I could careless, since I’m not a defender nor supporter of illegal alien related issues. So I won’t comment. In most every European culture where Bigotry exists there is a sexual element attached to the outsider group. In Nazi Germany the same was said of Jews (Rape, larger sex organs, etc) & Gypsies.
In the American South, that stuff was almost legendary. The White man lived in this surreal world. where every Black man wanted his very valuable white woman & dreamed of taking her in any manner he could. There have been many clinical works written on this subject as it really does exists to a broader spectrum than most would think.
There are people who REALLY believe that a Black man lives his life dreaming of white women. No matter if they were re-assured over & over by real Black people that they honestly do NOT fantasize about white women; they’d not believe it.

There is no doubt in my mind, that the alarming trend of race mixing between Black men & White women is rampant. In fact, the mixing of these 2 races, the Black man and a White woman is way too common and overlooked. The mixing of these particular 2 is widely practiced as opposed to other races/ethnic groups. And I always wonder why that is. Sometimes it troubles me, since I am a nonwhite, but the mixing of a Black man and White woman has more to do with sexual aspects of it, rather than a committed couple spending the rest of their lives together. Most Black men are not marriage material, hence rendering them to be viewed as self-fish and unfaithful. White women who seek them, do so for the sole purpose that is widely regarded as a sexual myth. And I view most of these relationships as failures and bound for devastation.
Most folks tend to view a Black man as not being responsible as other races in terms of relationships. They dwell so much on popular culture, music, and material things rather than taking full repsonsiblity for their children. In hindsight, to some people, this can be a form of modern rape on a demographic scale.

Apparently, your link doesn’t work. So I googled search rape stats from various angles, from the Bureau of Justice to Rape Crisis. It appears that they all seem to be saying the same thing. The vast majority of rape victims knew their attacker. Usually from 73% and higher.
Are you telling me that 38000 White women have been backstabbing white men by dating Black men?
