They violated the Constitutional Rights of Tancredo to free speech and to those legitimately attending in regard to freedom of assembly. They should be charged with a Federal crime as well as having a civil tort filed against them.

'anti-racist' should be exchanged with 'anti-free-speech' protesters who refuse to listen to any opposing view.

I honestly wonder in the eyes of the SPLC staff when will it NOT be 'nativist extremist bigoted racist hateful anti immigrant' to oppose infinite immigration of poor people. how many more poor people do we need? when millions of americans are getting fired, does the SPLC REALLY think need more?

whats wrong with having high skill immigrants like doctors from india instead? why do we have to only have infinite poor mexicans? the ADL is definitely similar, but the SPLC really is THE worst as far as all-out distortions..... and i dont even know why, they would still make their point just as effectively (if not more effectively) if they were more fair in their wording/phrasing

I don't think anyone dislikes Tom Tancredo any more than do I, but, after seeing the video on the subject, this time I think the kids protesting his appearance were way too over the top.

I don't care who the person is it is just good form to let them speak and then organize a logical and lawful rebuttal. What went on at UNC did not help anyone and turned Tancredo into the victim. (Which he is not).

As with all hatemongers like yourself, you lie and distort the truth. Congressman Tancredo's lecture was not "anti-immigration" - it was to be about ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

It never fails - that the SPLC hates the truth, they hate so much they have no problem distorting the truth to accomplish their mission of hate.

Lately, there has been several incidents like these, where speeches and events hosted by such nimrods and demagogues opposing illegal immigration or to promote white interests agendas, were repeatly disrupted by anti-racists, anarchists and/or individuals bent on stopping these events from taking place, it just shows us that its almost never a peaceful event. Why would Universities bother with the notion of allowing these events to take place, if they very well know it, that these events with known racist demagogues being invited, will surely create interference with the education system? Is it strictly for entertainment purposes? Or educational? I don't see anything remotely educational about it, if the speeches from known racists and groups associated with it, are there to simply fan the flames on racial issues using illegal immigration as a scapegoat for their hideous agenda. I say ban them from respected Universities and let them be, with their conference halls at the local hotel and elsewhere.
