Hmmmmm….like we are supposed to believe anything the Globe prints. Only liberal’s like to read disinformation. I’ve seen more left wing extremist hate and violence. Of course that is ignored by the MSM and SPLC. Go figure!

You want to back up you assertations there Steve with a little, you know, evidence.
You want disinformation come on over to Media Matters.org. You could read of such things as R Limbaugh’s assertation that CO2 isn’t hazardous because humans exhale it.
Its a good place to read of conservative missinformation. And yes if we didn’t read it, then we wouldn’t be able to call BS on wingnut talking points such as yours as easily. So I can understand your misgivings about our reading habits.

Didn’t Republican/Consrvative President Ronald Reagan shout in Berlin, “Mr. Gorbechev, tear down this wall” and then went on and gave a speech about how men should be free without the need for walls.

Now the Conservative philosophy is calling for the construction of a wall to be built between the Mexican/U.S. border, promoting and funding a wall in Iraq, building and funding a wall between the Palestinians and Israeli’s…

I hope the Conservative philosophy makes up its mind. Should nations build walls or not build walls….

edward cenek, yup left wing extremist terrorists. Like ecoterrorists, the gays from Bash Back attacking churches after prop 8 passed, pro-illegal immigration extremists using violence to disrupt Tom Tancredo’s lecture at UNC-Chapel Hill. I can go on and on. So far they are the only hate groups using violence. We had Tea Parties to voice our opinions and guess what? No violence. So who are the domestic terrororist? Liberals!

Sorry Weston I don’t smoke pot. I follow the laws. Sure wish liberals would!

Ed Weston–I congradulate you on your decision to expose yourself to different views. I started doing that 4 years ago and ended up changing many of my old beliefs.
Your comments about disinformation, Russ Limbaugh and CO2 caught my attention since my latest focus of information gathering has been the global warming issue. Could you, or any of your left wing friends, enlighten me on something. If CO2 is a hazard and causes temperature to rise, how is it that when you go back in time, AND LOOK AT THE DATA CLOSELY, the temperature goes up FIRST and then the CO2 follows? Since the CO2/temperature connection is the foundation of much of the left wing agenda, I doubt that the bias media will ever focus on this important issue.
Edward Cenek–Left wing extremist hate and violence??? Well let’s see—off the top of my head there’s Bill Aryers, also the Unibomber (radical left wing enviromental material found underlined & highlighted), Stalin, Lenin, Castro, Breshneif (pardon the spelling), Antiwar protesters throwing rocks and bricks at police, Greenpeace loosening wheel lug nuts on cars, wire placed at neck level on legal ORV trails, boards with nails in them placed across dark tunnels used by ORV’s, spikes placed on legal ORV trails to puncture tires (and animals paws), attacks by bicycle riders on minivans with young children in them, shoving steel tubes into the softspots of a FULL TERM infants to suck brains out (if you got the $, certain docs will come up with an excuse to do it), supporting “tolerance” of an intolerant religion (Islam), supporting tolerance of a religion that allows non-believers to be lied to and deceived (taqiyya). The last two are violence and hate by acts of omission rather than acts of commision. Yes the left wing can be violent and hateful.

You can’t believe anything Rush says, considering the man’s a drug addict…and I’d trust the Globe any day over right-wing rags like the NY Post, WorldNet Daily, NewsMax, etc.

This is a bit inbred since the article cites the SPLC as their source.

Folks, why the criticism of the right-wingers? Look at all that they’ve accomplished since 1980! For the younger people who might not know it, the US was once not only the world’s leading economic power, but we were at the top in everything from education to opportunity to health/longevity! We were regarded by the international community as leaders in human rights, in sciences, in innovation, in justice, in freedom! And that, I can assure you, was a miserable burden. Having a real democracy meant that we had to (ugh!) study the issues and understand exactly what it was that we voted for. Today, we have our celebrated Talking Heads to tell us what to think. Now that’s freedom!

Today, only the rich need worry about getting ahead, since the rest of us are blocked out of the economy from the get-go. Why try at work? Your company is likely to pack up and move to a foreign country at any time, and you’ll find yourself back at the bottom. And that’s OK, because that’s what our country is all about — preserving the wealth of the wealthy. Buy a house? Silly, those burdens have been taken off our backs as well. You might give it a shot if the economy improves, but keep your stuff packed — you’ll most likely lose your house, and everything you invested in it with the next economic downturn. And if you play all your cards right, you can still get sick. Good thing you have insurance, huh? Upon becoming seriously ill, your insurance will either be dropped or your premiums will be hiked well beyond what you can afford. In other words, even if you can afford insurance, what’s the point? So, the solution is obvious — don’t get sick!

We have been liberated. We no longer have to think, try, strive, dream, or care. Our wise conservatives have brought the US to the point of restoring a good, orderly feudalism. How can we complain about that?
