Is the Washington Times the paper owned by the Moonies? If so, why would Hatewatch lend credibility to a very questionable movement by linking to an article from that paper?

So, just because it’s a right-wing moonie owned paper, it’s always wrong? As much as I think that FAUX News is a scam, I do think they do tell the truth from time to time, even if just by accident.
Another way to put it is, even a broke clock is right twice a day.

Say if the white militias do indeed, accept an “alliance” with Al-Qeada. There’s gonna be a serious campaign against white militias by the Federals. Since Al-Qeada is the United States public enemy #1. War veterans returning from the “war on terror”, are most definately gonnal be appalled by this, if not–pissed.
Its time for the Feds to move in and raid the white militias. And send them off to 3rd world secret CIA funded prisons for intelligence gathering. Remember that your Dick Cheney(the US’s most dangerous V.P.) has been an avid supporter of torture.

First off, this video was released “earlire THIS YEAR”??!! And we’re only NOW hearing about it? WTF?!
Also,Allen? A clock isn’t “broke”, it’s “broken”.

R.J.,
People use language colloquially all the time. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Broke works in more ways than one. It’s petty to rant about someone’s spelling, especially when you don’t know how they intend something to read or sound. Go for broke where it counts.

The Washington Times is itself a pretty extreme right wing news outfit, and I am not sure about the credibility of this article. Also, ugly chauvanism aside, I am not sure what Al Qaeda and white supremacists have in common.

While it is true the Wash Times IS owned by Rev. Moon, that does not mean it is full of Moony propaganda lies.
The UPI wire service is also owned by the Moonies and it is still a reputable news source I use frequently.
It was the Washington Times that broke the story about underage male hookers at the Poppy Bush White House in 1990. (That story was immediately covered up). The Wash Times has ALWAYS been owned by Rev. Moon; he started the paper. So, they are not always biased to the right wing if they were willing to take on Chimpy’s daddy.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and worked several years in the news business. I now work in insurance and use news services like UPI all the time for my work. I have no problems with using either UPI or Wash Times for news stories.
I have noted that even notorious propaganda liars like FOX News still run “straight news” that isn’t full of lies. You have to watch out for their news anchors spewing right wing “commentary” after they report the actual story, however.
I would like to see some confirmation of this story by other sources, since it is obviously a bombshell that has all the reich wingnuts in here tying their panties into knots.
If ultra-reich-wingnut groups were being courted by Al Quaeda, I wouldn’t doubt it. They have a lot in common, since they are all TERRORISTS.
