It is about time these right-wing deranged freaks are put behind bars, and held accountable.

Now, on to foxhatenetwork, limbaugh, and all the rest of them.

There appears to be a bit of hate expressed in the above posting. Is hate OK as long as we hate the “right” people for the “right” reasons?

    Larry,

You’re wrong about Pam’s comment. It’s not hate, it’s common sense.
We do need to watch these crazy people closely and if they make threats, yes they need to be arrested.
And about Fox(faux) News, they try to create an admosphere of hate against the president of the United States and I think this should be watched closely too.
It borders to calling people to action against the president which should be treated like a crime indeed!!

Call it backstabbing if thy will. Wasn’t Hal Turner the infamously reputed “paid informat by the FBI”???
Ironically, it appears Hal Turner was dumped years ago by the Feds. But the wing-nut kept on with his gibberish threats of prominent people.
Now I wonder if this latest RE-arrest of Turner will be legit enough to put the man away for quite sometime.

i wonder if these retards will ever learn that they are being counter-productive to their cause (in this case handgun-rights)

i wonder if they consider themselves some sort of ‘martyr’ or if they are just plain stupid

Referring to anyone as a “retard” is offensive. Mental retardation is not a condition that is acquired by choice.

OK, Larry, we’re sorry you’re retarded.

I do not like people like Rush Limbaugh and other so-called conservative commentators who claim that there is a liberal conspiracy and that liberals just want to support lazy people who don’t want to work hard to achieve success. As far as I know Rush Limbaugh has so far not crossed the line yet by inciting acts of violence; since I don’t listen him, I don’t know if has ignored the line in the way of saying the 7 words you can’t say on radio, but someday he might in the course of “speaking his mind.” I do wish that these people would get brains, become enlightened and stop spewing their verbal venom.

So therefore, Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Hannity, Ingraham, O’Reilly, Krauthammer, Savage and all those other “wonderful” people are free to spew distorted information out of their mouths (so-called “speaking their minds” and not acting like decent citizens as they probably should have taught during their childhoods; like not verbally abusing people you disagree with; they were probably not taught the rule that “if you can’t say something nice, not to say anything at all”) until they actually incite, conspire to, or engage in acts of violence. For the sake of society at large, I hope they never do.

Many people don’t take them seriously or just listen to them just to hear what the far right is thinking.

True conservatives are like William F. Buckley, Joe
Scarborough, Republican President Coolidge in the early part of the 20th Century and you might include Margaret Thatcher’s Premiership over in the UK. True conservative politicians look to the long distant future. They aren’t people who dwell on liberal conspiracies and try to create public enemies like Limbaugh and his peers do.

However in this country, people do have the freedom to believe whatever they want to believe, but they do not have complete freedom of behavior. Hal Turner crossed the legal line when he advocated the murder of these judges because he was inciting violence against them. The killer of the guard at the Holocaust Museum also crossed that line. In America we can believe anything we want to believe, but we can’t do exactly everything we’d like to do (like actualizing our darkest passions that cause others harm). People like them tend to be reactionaries and they want to end the current political system and bring it back to a glorified past which never existed in the first place.

Thanks Peacemaker that was a good article, yes we ALL have a right to believe what we want and even talk about it for Now..
But why doesnt the SPLC ever have the nut-jobs on the left who commit hundreds of more crimes against OUR Govt and it’s people, that causes millions of dollars each year to “US” the taxpayers. Im not condoning any of these killings in any way, shape or form, just makes me wonder ? I guess the killing of 2 servicemen(God rest their souls) outside of an Army Recruiting office isnt news or was for one day, or the college kid who hacked into our Missile Defense Sytem, or, etc, etc, etc. meanwhile the world is going ga-ga over a man who enjoyed sleeping with little boys. Good Night Left Side, sleep well !!

    Steve:

the SPLC just doesnt care about the recruiter or any other left wing or non-white violence. if black and latino gangs attacked their headquarters they probably would not even report it because the attackers were not right wing white males.

    Dear Steve

There are people on the radical left who can cause the same problems that those on the extreme, reactionary right do. These are not average liberal people with progressive attitudes who adovocate gradual change (they would not do something like abolish the supreme court, disband the military, etc) and want to maintain the system, in their belief to improve the quality of life. They are not out to change the system entirely like radicals try to do. Some extreme animal rights activists have burglarized labortories which conduct tests using animals and some extreme environmental activists have hammered spikes into trees bound to be logged for lumber, posing a threat to loggers chopping them down. These are not liberals but extreme radicals. The same goes for that man who shot two soldiers at a recruiting station or the college kid who hacked into the missile defense system (thank God he was stopped). When these people engage in such actions, like with those on the extreme right, they are crossing the legal line and are causing harm to society.

Also those men who sleep with boys are causing a great amount of harm to their victims and are also causing harm to society by their actions. Nobody has the right to harm a child. Fortunately society has also agreed that child porn is wrong as well and I’m glad when those sickos are caught. They ought to spend a minimum of 15 years in prison without parole for the first offense if convicted.

The SPLC has reported on extremists on the far left as well and they are just as dangerous as those on the extreme right. In this nation we have conspiracies going on both the extreme left and extreme right, but a “liberal conspiracy” to improve education, healthcare, and so forth is not a conspiracy and most liberals are not interested in forcing people into “liberal reeducation camps” to accept their point of view or establish an official view that everybody must have in order to be patriotic. Those on the far left and right often do. Both the extreme left and right need to be under surveillance because of the harm they can do to society.

There are rational ways to debate political issues such as explaining how a nationalized healthcare system might lead to inefficiency of health services, but don’t bash liberals like Coulter does, engage in civil debate like Bill Buckley did instead.

If you read the Intelligence Report by the SPLC, you’ll see that they do report on black suprematists as well. All these violent groups are a danger to society, no matter what side of the political spectrum they are on.

Everybody has the right to their beliefs, but nobody has the right to endanger society by his or her behavior, even if it is based on their beliefs.

These neo Nazi morons really give me a pain. The real Nazis were part of an incredibly able military and political machine that actually came close to achieving its goals. This context was singular, unusual and never to be realized again. The neos are actually retards by real Nazi standards. I’ve shaken hands with former Nazi rocket scientists in Houston but I did not become a neo Nazi because of it. There were no swastikas painted on the rockets; instead there were Amercian flags. The other day I celebrated the Fourth of July by sipping suds and watching Tom Cruise try to blow up Hitler. Excellent movie! More my influence.
