These socalled christians are an affront before God and Jesus of everything Jesus life stood for amongst His People. Bush of course used hatred of gays to get re-elected in 2004. Hatred hardly any different then the hatred that Hitler used against the Jews, a hatred built up over 1500 years by the western church. A hatred that hitler leveraged, along with the angst of the economic collapse, to get elected, and the rest is one of the largest stains on humanity's collective soul and history And the same type of religious approval was given by the southern christian churches to slavery as per the bible, and then after our bloodiest war ever, the recreated slavery in the name of Segregation. They being the Bible believing southern Christians.. And if you dig not very far, you will find that George W Bush's grandfather, Senator Prescott Bush in the later 1930s was a director of a bank, and approved tens of millions in loans to Nazi Germany, which went for re-armament. The rest is history - 50 million deaths, and the Holocaust. George HW Bush was conservative, but not a bad person, They say that history repeats itself, and some forms of plant life and vermin only re-appear every so many years. It looks like in the Bush family, the diseases of greed and religious hatred, re-appear every other generation. God save America from those who hate in the name of God. Bigots are NOT excluded to "trailer trash" or for that matter "neo-con Republicans". They exist on every level & strata of social existence. The best method of funding is to rub shoulders with the titled & socialite - Country Club set; get them interested in some little flirtation with extremist political agenda & convince them they are contributing to their own purposeful aggrandizement. The money to be used in such a positive manner that it would serve as a memorial to their Class & or family. It's not hard to see that when the family yacht becomes a bore & all the affairs are no longer satisfying, that politics beckons. And what better than something "exclusive"? Just because one has a fortune doesn't make one wise: but it does make one a great target! This only shows how narrow minded some people are.
