    This bill does nothing but give racists some satisfaction that their fantasies of violence and oppression will get full funding from the defense department and homeland security.

    The proposal for “verification” of workers already exists — all employers have to have their prospective employees fill out an I-9 which is all about verification. There already exists stiff penalties for not having valid I-9’s on file.

    Also there already exists a means to instantly check SS cards as well.

    So in all reality, like most Republican chest beaters, there is absolutely nothing meaningful to be done to stop the hiring and rampant exploitation of immigrants and instead, just more money to feed the fertile imaginations of a million idiotic armchair warriors, waiting to see videos of blood and suffering for their Friday night power trip.
