Special Agent Ross Rice, a spokesman for the FBI in Chicago, said he would not comment on or even confirm Turner’s relationship with the FBI.

Well, with that statement, we know the FBI was involved. I dream of the former days when the FBI and CIA were clean US organizations that we could be proud of and support. Now they don’t even know how to be honest. Ummm Ummmm! So sad!

They have been violating people’s constitutional rights since alleged homosexual, J Edgar Hoover was in charge.
There were many agent provocateurs during the democratic convention in chicago where police brutality became a way of life for the peaceful protesters.

I’ve often wondered if there could be provocateurs mixed with those anarchist groups you see at the word trade center protests. The majority of respected (within anarchist circles) are really pacifist and non violent.

Dakotahgeo, since when were the FBI or the CIA to be trusted? They have both operated as nothing more than criminal gangs since their inceptions. Both of them should be disbanded. If the CIA were disbanded, I am sure we would see a rapid and significant decrease in the amount of cocaine in this country for sure. The FBI? What do they do besides try and frame crackheads for bombing synagogues? That and supplying C4 to blow up the WTC in 1991.

Not to jump to the FBIs’ Defense or anything – especially since they’ve been ‘giving it to ME’ over the last 12 years, even though I’m ardently Pro Civil Rights, Anti-Klan, and Non-Violent (I’ve been told an Agents Sister ripped me off in 1996, then started trying to “Run me outta town” – all of which led to the Klan Murder of two people! Working on THAT ONE, right now! They read everything I post, you see!); but they DO have a NEED to LIE, Cheat, and generally act like the Scumbags they’re Investigating!!!
I mean, how could the CIA possibky succesfully infiltrate, say, Al Qaeda, without ACTING JUST LIKE THEM!?!

Whatever the deal is with the FBI or the CIA or the YWCA doesn’t matter; Turner crossed the line, took it upon himself to incite his imagined cohorts to violence against innocent people.
He’s a typical racist, neo-nazi moron who couldn’t resist the opportunity to gain a little quick rush of power at the end of a mike.
They’ll haul him off to prison and he’ll still be babbling something to get the cameras to look at him.

Well the FBI let Whitey Bulger and others work for years, murdering,rackatering,flooding the city with drugs, just for putting a few people behind bars.
And as the saying goes when you hate the haters, well, that makes you a hater. If the country only had lefty loonies running it, Anarchy would prevail.
Thank God we still have Freedom of Speech, then again I guess not in Hal turners case.

Kate, the whole slant of the story is the FBI paid him to broadcast his message of racism. Which means that you have government sponsored racism. Which also means a subversion of the free speech by this sponsorship. Something that Colby himself admitted when he said the CIA owned the media. Hal doesn’t matter, what matters is the FBI sponsorship of him constitutes our country being worse than Stalinistic Russia. It’s worse, because at least in Russia, the people knew what they were up against. Here, they all believe the government is looking out for us.

My father worked for the government for many years doing things we never discussed at the dinner table so if you dont believe that the CIA and the FBI are doing “illegal activities” you are living in a dream world. Their whole deal is we have to do whatever it takes to protect this country period end of story.Who cares if this man says he worked for them he can say anything he wants he is an angry man who needs to blame some one else for his situation if he had incited hundreds of people to riot and burn down buildings than maybe he has some reason to cry foul. He didnt give out any information that anyone could have gotten on their own. I think the government letting him rant and rave but keeping an eye on him is doing what they are supposed to do.

So Matha, how was the FBI protecting us when they supplied the C4 for the first WTC bombing? And how has the CIA been protecting us by creating the cocaine and the crack cocaine epedimic? These two agencies are the true evils this country faces. They are nothing but criminal gangs and their actions, of which I am personally aware of some of the minor ones in Central America, do nothing to protect America. They do nothing to enhance our image, and they do everything to ensure that our enemies are correct in their accusations against us. This guy here probably was hired by the FBI. It certainly fits their profile. It seems that everytime there is some action like this, it is because our government is behind it. Screw Hal, but screw the FBI and the CIA and all the other alphabet gangs as well. They are all the enemies of freedom.

Jim I believe yes they use drugs as a way to grease the wheels for other “activities ” ever since the cold war ended it is alot easier for us to point fingers and say that these two agencies are responsible for all the drug problems we deal with. But no one complained about their activities when they were protecting us from a very real threat. I believe politics both here and in other countries has helped the drug trade run rampant in America. I am not so dense that it is not a perfect union of agencies and ethics but I wonder how much worse would we be without them since our constitution allows us so many rights we either exercise those rights to the limit or not at all.

Your assertions that the FBI/CIA supplied explosives for the first World Trade Center bombing is ridiculous. Being in local enforcement and having taught terrorism related courses for years–these anti-government diatribes are laughable (and yes, I have a graduate degree). The FBI and CIA are not perfect and they’ve made mistakes and should be accountable to the people, but implying they are inciting racism, terrorism and the sale of drugs are groundless rantings of government hating grudge mongers! I’ve worked many cases through the years with the FBI and other federal agencies–they have their problems, but they’ve exhibited integrity and have tried to do the right thing, despite the federal bureaucracy that guides them. Most of these federal and local public servants would take a bullet for any American citizen if push came to shove. Stick to the the facts and don’t generalize about organizations that are full of good, hard working and brave citizens. We all should be proud to be Americans. Domestic and Transnational Terrorism are both a major threat to our safety and security–those institutions under attack in some of these emails are doing their best to keep us safe–not creating danger. Wake up from the paranoia and appreciate those who protect and serve–it’s not the agencies creating drug problems–it’s the people who illegally purchase the drugs in the first place!

To Loopy, it is historical record on the WTC bombing. And so is the Iran/Contra affair with the CIA, as well as many other allegations on opium in Afghanistan, and many other countries as well. Don’t give me that take a bullet crap either. Did my ten years. Most people in law enforcement aren’t even worth fighting for, just a bunch of redneck tazer happy crooks. I wasn’t stupid enough to be accepted into law enforcement for my ten years though, mine was in military. Learn to read and you may actually learn something. I only wrote historical fact. You are merely ignorant of such facts.

I read a lot but have also lived overseas in the military and have 30 years of law enforcement experience. I will add that your facts don’t jive with reality. Iran/Contra is factual (the CIA and FBI aren’t perfect) but you’re distorting the WTC facts. Iran/Contra was a long time ago. Your comment about the “bullet” issue is also way off base. Your comment about law enforcement is biased and ignorant. Next time you don’t think law enforcement officers aren’t worth fighting for, travel to the law enforcement memorial in Washington and read the names of over 16,000 men and women who have died in the line of duty. As an Assistant Sheriff we buried two of our officers who were working to protect those who could not. I can’t count the number of police funerals I’ve been to. It’s too bad you’re too bias to acknowledge that. p.s. I’d suggest that you support this great nation, instead of tearing down the very institutions seeking to protect it.

Martha, how has the institutions that JFK wanted disbanded done us any service? It’s not like the CIA even knew that Russia was falling? It’s not like either the FBI or the CIA has protected us, they have instead propped up dictatorships over democratically elected governments, they have undermined our good name all over the world, they helped to ensure the most evil of the nazis made it over here to fill our shores with their filth, they have done exactly what to protect us? I don’t believe either agency has done anything to justify their existence. In fact, I think we would be a lot better off if we got rid of all of those alphabet agencies. They do not protect us, they only enslave us.
