I remember a federal judge many years ago who was kidnapped by some sort of lunatic. I recall seeing a fuzzy black and white picture of the man in black robes with a shotgun muzzle taped to his neck. At the time the pic was taken the judge was still alive. He didn’t live much longer. I have to wonder about paranoia and guilt, especially in the light of Oklahoma City.

People like Alex Jones spread this kind of paranoia, and it’s all about selling books and movies and raking in the moo-la!

I know all about these theories.
Alex Jones has been spewing them on late-night radio for years.
Funny thing, these rumors all started BEFORE Obama got elected.
And it was Dubya Bush who was going to open those camps. Bush DID make it a lot easier to declare martial law. These theories got a lot of airtime on Art Bell.
I bet all those Reich Wingnuts who are now spouting these theories all voted for Dubya.
Twice.

While President Obama and liberals would do no such thing (the foundation of liberalism is freedom of the individual), at the same time concentration/re-education camps are a real threat for the future in this country.
Rushdoony, the thinker behind the “Christian Reconstructionism” movement called for re-education camps for educators who did NOT teach from a “Biblical perspective” and death if they do not “repent” (and death for people who leave that form of “Christianity”- considered apostates by people like him). Rick Joyner, confidant of Sarah Palin, said (QUOTE): “The kingdom of God will not be socialism, but a freedom even greater than anyone on earth knows at this time. At first it may seem like totalitarianism…. Instead of taking away liberties and becoming more domineering, the kingdom will move from a point of necessary control while people are learning truth, integrity, honor, and how to make decisions, to increasing liberty so that they can.”
Make no mistake- he’s not talking about heaven. He’s talking about their plans for America and the world.
That is only one quote out of many that demonstrate the goal of the Dominionists. They seek to replace our government with a theocracy- with themselves in charge.
They’re organized, growing in power, and a real threat to freedom. The sad thing is that their goals do not match with Jesus’ teachings.
