Governor Looks into Suffolk County Hate Crime Complaint

New York Gov. David Paterson said he’d speak to state and county officials about a Suffolk County Hispanic Advisory Board member who reported that a county official threatened him after he spoke out about his personal experiences as a hate crime victim.

For goodness sake: don’t allow the victims of hate crimes to speak out about what was done to them. Why, it might tarnish our image as a nation of “equal justice for all”!
