The originators of the ancient empires of the Americas, were white and thus it is most probable that any creative eating, apart from cannibalism, that the Spaniards came upon when they entered the area was a carryover of better, pre-human sacrifice days. I would go to the effort of including source material, but not much chance for an actual intelligent investigation. Use google and do your own research.

Yeah, enjoy your boiled beef (salt, no pepper, natch), turnips, and cabbage. Some hard bread and maybe some fish and you have solid White European cuisine unsullied by abominations from non-whites. I think even cheese was developed elsewhere, though I wouldn’t swear to it. Spices, Tomatoes, Potatoes, Noodles, Corn, all swarthy human food, and therefore not worthy.

You know it’s like having spoiled children. If their tantrums didn’t involve hurting or killing other people or even bombing large buildings, I’d say just ignore them until they decide to grow up and enter society. Being a LOSER is not destiny, but a choice.

The debate itself is invalid because it is based on the false premise of biological race. In fact, biologists, geneticists and physical anthropologists have long since busted the myth of biological race. It turns out that:

a) There is more genetic variety within so-called “races” than across “races”.

b) We probably all share a common ancestor, who was most definitely African and most-definitely dark-skinned.

c) Your skin color has to do with how far your ancient ancestors lived from the equator. There is absolutely no correlation to mental capacity.

d) “Race”, therefore, is strictly a social construct designed to establish and maintain unequal power relations.

That’s it people! A social construct…, an invention of the creative imagination of the mind of man. We’re more alike than different. Therefore, all debates based on the notion of race are automatically nonsensical and complete exercises in futility. Time to change the discourse, don’t you think?

Whoever said that a lot of this stuff sounds (musically) the same – hit it right on the head! I was listening to some of it and it’s garage-band-same-song crap. What’s more many of them use the typical 12-bar blues progression that metal hides behind grinding distortion pedals turned up to the max. That’s rather cute; as we well know where blues progressions came from.

Meso-American culture has been eating basically the same thing for thousands of years, maybe longer. If what Charity says is true, Spaniards went back in time, went to a Paleolitic city in the Americas, made the food there (which included rats brought from another time trip) edible, and left. All without killing, converting, stealing everything and everyone. Also, when they came back some time later, they were shocked to see people they never saw before or ever heard of on this continent they didn’t know existed.

I know I’m just being silly, but my point about rats and “eating basically the same thing for thousands of years”, kind of makes Charity seem silly.

I always find it funny that the people who hate Mexicans sure love Mexican food! And yes, They need to check their DNA. Spanish, Mexican, Italian, French, little white European girls. We all hail from the same African blood. Hmmm…Wonder what they eat their, I am sure the girls would love it!

People who promote their favored culture as beginning with themselves or their own ancestors are definitely barking up the wrong tree.

There is DNA evidence that humans first developed in Africa and that all humans have sprung from 17 females from that continent.

When those precious little white girls crow about being special, we can all just laugh heartily at their naivete.

You forgot potatoes, however chocolate in the form we know it today was unknown in the new world at that time.
The bitter chocolate drinks are nothing near the modern incarnation of chocolate that started with Van Houten’s inventions.

To build on the above comment, agriculture in the Americas was far in advance of Europe when it was “discovered”. As an example, the Potato Famine was due in part to European monoculture. The Incas would never have had that problem. Also, the practice of propagation by cuttings was highly sophisticated in the Carribean islands, and Corn was developed, not found, by the American natives. If you think the only good stuff in the Americas was developed by Whites, you’re very sadly mistaken.

Corn (maize), tomatoes, chilies and chocolate, amongst many other things, were developed in the Americas thousands of years before the arrival of the Europeans. Those same foods are now staples of cuisines around the world. So, not only is Ms Pendergraft a crap singer, she is also a poor historian. I shouldn’t be surprised to find out that she is a terrible cook as well.
