I live in Arizona. THANK GOODNESS the “agreement” with Sheriff Joe and his “boys” to act as federal immigration agents in the streets is ending. Believe me, there are a lot of Arizona citizens who have NOT lost the power to think and thus, will be glad when Sheriff Joe retires – he’s certainly old enough to do so, and then we’ll be rid of him…thank goodness.

Good Marisa at least someone is trying to enforce our immigration laws! God only knows our federal Government is droping the ball on this issue!

As it has been reported copiously on the local news through out the week. Arpaio’s 287(g) wasn’t entirely stripped as some had hoped, yet it is possible the rabid law dawg, could have been decieved, that was only according to channel12 Joe Dana’s report. Washington has sent someone down to Maricopa County to strip arpaio of his street enforcements regarding the immigration sweeps, thus he gets to keep the 287(g) in his jails. But as usual, in his daily conferences addressed to the public, arpaio growled his vows would continue, regardless of what the Federal Government will do to his remaining 287(g). Because if anyone hath forgotten, there are some laws in the state of AZ that makes being here illegally–illegal(e.g. The Employer Sanctions law, anti-Smuggling law etc).
