No, I’d bet that they will only manage to get up to little more than a few murderous spree killings. But they have dreams of a new civil war in which, somehow, their redneck manhood will be redeemed, and they will do whatever they can to generate as much violence as they can.

A black man in the White House has provided them with an excuse to let their worst instincts govern their actions. Sad to say, I think the only thing holding them back at this point is cowardice.

Scott, when (and don’t talk about 1776) have today’s “militias” ever done a single thing to preserve liberty and freedom. I’ve never seen them do anything but run around with their weapons and fatigues like a bunch of infantile fools playing cowboys and indians.

It was me that alluded to the Civil War (Brother against brother). Do you think it’s going to happen? The more I think about it, the more I wish that I lived further from Washington, and I live in North Carolina! In fact, the Civil War was fought in many states, a lot of it in North Carolina.
These guys “warn” us about the coming of martial law. Well, when they fail, after an insane amount of violence… well, just think of it as a “self-fulfilling prophesy”.
Personally though, I really doubt they’re going to follow through with their threat.

I must have hit a nerve close to your heart. Right winged media is not the only place that I get my information, and about Obama Right winged media are not the only people dislike him. His own people … Alot of them only voted for him because he is black man. that was the only change they saw…History… Lets not blame Bush or any other POTUS. I’m a professional journalist, and the truth is, as I see it, a good thing to let these people express their ideas. Why? Because they show exactly how they feel, and it makes them clowns. Fools in the eyes of others. For every time a clan member marches around in Pulaski, TN, calling for the destruction of all other races they NEED to be televised.

This was a technique that was used to DESTROY the KKK in the 1940’s. The KKK was crushed because people started talking about their interests of killing and started talking about their secret handshakes on the radio. It made them buffoons.

There is a power and mystique in secrecy. There isn’t really something awe inspiring to others when a person can’t spell the appropriate homophone of ‘patience.’
Allowing a person, no matter how educated, expand on their uneducated ideas in the public sphere is a good thing… it is a lighthouse that warns others off the rocks.

That person obviously never read Brave New World, and is now referencing it. It shows the kind of idiocy that others are running together with. She’s with the Tea Party people, and they’re running around with a stone cold nutbag. Nobody said, “Hon, put down the sign, you’re an idiot.” But the rest of the world thought that.

That kind of ‘idiot publicity’ destroyed the KKK a generation ago. It’s also that kind of publicity that will destroy them as well.

I wouldn’t normally do this, but you seem to be trying to communicate, so I want to address several things you said.

Change? If you are refering to President Obama’s presidency and you feel he hasn’t changed anything yet, I suggest you look for a different place to get your information. He has done more in the last 9 months than his predecessor did in 8 yrs. But you will never hear that from the Right-wing media that is obsessed with hating him, so, if that’s where you’re getting your info, I suggest you broaden your horizens.

Obama has been in for only 9 months, and he inherited the worse economic mess in generations, plus two wars – and let me remind you that the cost of neither of those two wars was ever in a Bush budget – so what exactly did you expect to happen in his first year?

And were you complaining like this while the mess was being made by Bush? Or did you ignore what Bush did for 8 yrs? If so, why? If you were giving Bush a pass for 8 yrs but hate Obama now, you need to ask yourself why.

You say you didn’t vote for “change” because you don’t believe it will come, then what are you complaining about? You did nothing to change anything yourself and don’t believe in it – so, if nothing has been done, you’re getting exactly what you believed would happen – why are you complaining? What did you do to help make it better?

You also complain about open borders and illegal immigrants – but I see no acknowledgement from you that this has been an ongoing problem that Bush did nothing to fix – did you complain then and blame Bush? If not, why complain now and try to blame Obama?

You are all upset about jobs being taken away by illegals but you never put the responsibility on those who hire illegals – why not? There are already laws against hiring illegals, but, instead of putting the blame on those who continue to profit off of illegals, you want Federal intervention from Obama? Why not start working to get all your local businesses to hire only Americans and pay them a living wage? Why blame Obama?

As for illegals sending money out of the country – you really need to step out of your irrational hate long enough to see what is going on. You could add up all the money sent out of this country by illegals, times it by a hundred, or a thousand, and you still wouldn’t come close to the amount of money sent out of this country by corporations who use tax loopholes to send their profits out of our communities to overseas tax havens.

Getting uneducated people to hate illegal immigrants is just an easy way for the ultra rich to distract from their own crimes against this nation.

And they’ve used their lobbyists to get their Republican Congresscritters to make it legal to send our jobs overseas to sweat-shops where people work in virtual – and actual – slavery, taking away American jobs so that they can be billionaires and so you can buy cheap crap at Walmart.

You have fallen for the propaganda of the ultra-rich – they want you to stay busy hating those who have even less than you, so you will not notice that they are stealing this country blind.

Now, if you really hate what you say you hate, I suggest you do the following: educate yourself better on what is really going on – while you have let yourself be distracted by hate and propaganda, the ultra rich in this country has gotten far richer – at our expense. Those are the enemies of this country – and Bush helped them get so well set up that it will take years to undo the damage.

Why don’t you start taking action, (not violent action – REAL action) to start making the changes you believe in. Start in your community – is there a problem in your community with illegals taking jobs? If so, start with the companies that HIRE them.

Don’t just sit and complain and then brag that you aren’t doing anything to help right what you see is wrong – that isn’t the American way. And don’t let your life be consumed by hate. Get up, get active, do good for your community and your country. Be a part of making it right – and stay away from anyone who tries to convince you that hate and violence are the answers. They are not.

I didn’t say Anonymous was a threat, just crazy.

I’m well-armed, and should ANY INCIDENT arise of that nature, the Radical Right better haul ass out of my part of America, as fast as their little legs’ll take ‘em. We spent too many years with an UNELECTED POS as our president, and suffered for it, as did the rest of the world.

Now finally, for the first time in 8 years, we have a knowledgeable President who loves his country. The least that his fellow Americans (of ALL COLORS) can do, is to have his back. I think the President can sleep very well indeed, cause there’s way way more like me, than there is of these other morons.
