There are too many stories within some communities in Suffolk County, NY, that tell of hispanic/ethnic hatred. There must be a thorough investigation into the matter by a federal grand jury with full subpoena powers to bring the matter to light.
Reports of intimidation may be against other groups as well (i.e., black, senior citizens, women, etc.). There should nlot be an over-simplication of the matter. Harassment and intimidation that threatens the life and well being of anyone must not be condoned.
