Leonard Pitts is an excellent columnist. He has written some thought-provoking pieces. Unlike the people that have besmirched him he does not have to take off his shoes to count past ten.
I just don’t get why some ppl hate him so much as to behave in such a despicable and cowardly manner. Don’t they have anything better to do. Things like finishing the 3rd grade and learning to tie their shoelaces.

It is truly pathetic that these hate-filled jerks don’t have the balls to follow through and claim responsibility for their actions when their nefarious little acts get exposed to the public. They are like cockroaches and scatter the instant the light is shined on them. If they really believed they were doing anything right they would not run like cowards the instant they were asked to answer for their actions.

This all reeks of cowardice. Threats made at a distance, using the mail. I’m sure they like to think of themselves as “heroes for the cause,” but they’re actually just terrified little jerks.

Hate is always about fear.

The aspect of a “Jury of One’s Peers” makes for the picking of a Jury – a paid aspect of the Defense. The subtlety of the questions asked of a potential Juror is almost an art.

What MAY take place is steering the appreciation of the Constitutionality – an inherent aspect of the case. This could keep the basis of the emotional terror well under “the Radar” of the Prosecution.

Jury picking is what consultants are paid for. Both skilled and / or high dollar attorneys have several rules when approaching a case such as this.

Nothing in this world is perfect. Our Justice System is one of the finest in the world but far from perfect.
“Truth” may be at issue. But it’s not always what you know in any trial; but what you can prove and what is believed by whom.

In my opinion, there are few greater Chess Players than those who are the elements of our Justice System. ……However Morals & Skill are not always partners in our System.

These thugs are trying to skirt the law by using indirect threats and other intimidation tactics that they can later weasel out of in court.

This is a typical bullying tactic. They don’t do anything blatantly illegal but they go right up to the line between legal and illegal. It is very effective.

Hopefully a smart jury will see right through this.
