    I know that the swastika is also used by American Indians and by Buddhists–the difference is the way it appears to be spinning–clock wise or other wise. I can never recall which is which. A little help? NPC

    There were a lot of swastikas on the doors of practicing Buddhists and on monasteries I toured while stationed in Korea while in the US Army in 1995-96. My lesser-informed buddies would be so shocked, thinking they were all Nazi sympathizers, so I had to educate them. It’s very sad that a symbol that was so spiritually comforting in ages past has been perverted by small-minded and hateful idiots (Nazis both old and neo-) in more recent times.

    strange story does not sound like a hate crime to me but more like some young misdirected kids looking to stand out as somrthing they are not. but none the less still a crime and they should do the time. first off tatoos of white power symbols such as the swastika are worn on the chest like a medal of honor and are normaly rather large and placed over the heart and turn clock wise. lighting bolt tats are always double bolts to signifi white power and are often found in the prison system.a single bolt means nothing.google it?
