‘Hero’ in Allgier Case was Nearly Killed by Police

Eric Fullerton is 5 foot 6 and 140 pounds, but the plucky 59-year-old truck driver did not hesitate when a large tattooed man ran into a Salt Lake City Arby’s restaurant three years ago, fired a shot and began beating an employee on the head with a pistol.

    Mr. Fullerton is a hero in the truest sense of the word. He saw a situation, took charge and then was man enough to not hold the police responsible for nearly killing him by mistake. He did all the right things in the right order, I’d be proud to have him as a friend.
