Sounds like he did the responsible thing is clairfying his position.
Why is this being added to the things you hate??

I am WHITE and have lived in Arizona all my life. Babeau has made an ASS of himself joining in with the policies of Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County. He made an even BIGGER ass of himself when he aligned himself with the “pro-white” radio show. Since I live in Arizona, I am stuck watching these two JERKS spouting off daily on every news program. I live in Maricopa County, so my big hope that this B.S. will end is that Sheriff Joe is nearly 80 years old – and hopefully, we’ll also be rid of our “illustrious” governor, Janice Brewer, as soon as possible.

I live in Maricopa county, too, and I agree with Marisa. I don’ t believe the majority of Az folks agree with Gov Brewer, Sen McCain, Sen Kyl, Sheriff Arpaio or even Sheriff Babeau. We’re sick and tired of their racism and gestapo tactics. They started the Hispanic hatred rolling, and they’re no better than Mr. Ready/neonazi. Where is their humanity? I’ll bet McCain knows that the fence is and was being built by illegals–the price is right. What good does it do to complain to your congressman when you have two dweebs like these jerks?

What would be telling is to know what exactly was said in this interview and others. A lot can be revealed by an analysis of exactly what was said.
Another thing – a lot people who support SB 1070 have said it has nothing to do with race. Let’s have them put this to a test. If they can prove that a significant percentage of the non-white population supports the Papers-Please law, as compared to the white population, then they can continue to say it. In other words, let them put their money where their mouth is.

Earlier, Bruce said, “… Sounds like he did the responsible thing is clarifying his position. Why is this being added to the things you hate?? …”
Ooops, Bruce, you got everything wrong:
#1, He went on the show knowing full well who he was getting in bed with, only distancing himself later when the publicity got embarrassingly hot.
#2, These are not stories of people we hate, but of people who hate, period.
We don’t hate them, we feel sorry for them. We want to offer them insight on how to let go of their ignorance and fear. We also want to reduce their powers over others in our society, and warn everyone to be aware and beware.
“You have a right to hate. but no to hurt.” — Morris Dees.
We’re protecting you, too, Bruce. When any one in our society suffers at the hands of another, we all suffer.
Ignore this at your own peril.
Ignore this, and you’re next.

WOW!, Babeu, i’ve been watching this one,Arpaio wanna-be,how many of you remember the officer that was shot by and unknown, with the all infamous AK-47 a few days after that (Brewer) signed that bill. Watch out America these Babeu types are spread out across rual america, and gain their strenght by lying on the stand and creating senario’s to excite propganda and media fenzies. He’s a perfect example of the officer you don’t want to meet in an un-lit area, where (NO-ONE IS WATCHING).

Marissa and Janet and others,
PLEASE join some web dialog on these subjects somewhere every day and at least add ONE COMMENT against the hate.
Use your energies to speak up, speak out.
Even if it seems like you are only one voice, what you have to say to everyone matters.
United we stand, divided, we fall.
Thank you!

Ah, the power of voting…
on July 23rd, 2010 at 10:27 am
Babeu knew he was on a White Only station, what he didn’t know was the amount of outcry he was going to receive over his appearance. All of a sudden 100,000 marchers are counted because among them are people who are ready and willing to take the time to stop the hate. The end of Arpaio, Brewer, Thomas, Pierce, and Kavanogh is near. We will vote and the Independents will join us. Where will that leave Babeu? Of course, he will chance course to save his job. He thinks he is on top now. Enjoy the fall, but most of all enjoy the your coffee as Tea Potty members go down with him.

I was born in Phx. and grew up there, but have lived in Tucson nearly 30 yrs. I’ve never heard so much racist hatred in my life, and for the 1st time, seriously considered moving elsewhere. How did all these hatemongers get into office? I know I didn’t vote for McShame, Kyl, or the wingnuts who run our Legislature. I hope our next elections have strong oversight, transparency and accountability. We have some great challengers in the Fall. Let’s show these loonies the door.
