    We may see more of this, because the courts cannot decide whether funerals should be protected from nutball protesters.

    I can remember when nobody would dare to protest a funeral like this. It just was not done. Not even if they were planting a bad guy, it was just bad form and everybody knew it.

    I am convinced this country is going crazy. Nobody believes in common decency or respect anymore.

    The only good thing about Westboro Baptist Church is that The Reverend Fred Phelps is OLD and will die soon….probably of natural causes. :( Hopefully, his “members” (who are mostly family, I understand) will seek REAL lives after he is gone.

    Although the Westboro Baptist agenda is twisted as hell you only lower yourself by initiating the violence. Best choice is just to ignore them.

    Sorry, they cannot be ignored. The best way to let evil flourish is to stay silent.
    Unfortunately, some young children have been indoctrinated by “grandpa phelps.”
    As in cases where small children have been indoctrinated into KKK and skinhead organizations, taken to their rallies, dressed up in their ridiculous getups and taught to be hateful to other children, the phelps children should be taken into care by whatever child protective services they have in Kansas.

    I think there are many Phelps offspring eagerly awaiting Fred Phelps’ demise so they can further expand and intensify their Crusade of Hatred.
