There is no credible link between the Europeans who came to the New World and some group of ancient, pre-Indo Europeans who may have made it to the “New World” tens of thousands of years prior. If you are going to make a link between Europeans and Solutreans you really have no reason to draw a line between Europeans and Africans, since all human history traces back there.

Why so sensitive? If they are great schools the kids will get a great education and parents will continue to send them there. In that case I applaud duping the racist “Conservative” Citizens Council into supporting education. If, on the other hand, kids in these schools are indoctrinated into the “southern way of life” perhaps parents who read Hatewatch will decide to make a better choice for their children.

I lived in Mississippi when the White Citizens Council was formed. I am well aware that a primary goal of this organization was to thwart school desegregation. I am also aware that, when well to do segregationists began sending their kids to these institutions, funding for public schools and the quality of public education in Mississippi (which had been excellent at least in white schools in Hinds County) began to decline.

In 2008 both Calhoun Academy and Carroll Academy were 100% white according to education.com.

Perhaps Carroll academy has admitted a non-white student (1 out of 450) since then or perhaps the definition of “white” changes depending on whether you are trying to recruit the children of racists or impress Hatewatch readers with your inclusiveness. I wonder if these schools still pass on their used and outdated textbooks to the “colored” schools as they did when the “southern way of life” was intact.

Seems peculiar that people with no actual knowledge or experience with the school would have more to say than the parents of the nonwhite children who send their kids to it.

The racists posting here seem to object to SPLC pointing out that some schools in Mississippi accept funds from hate groups and don’t seem to adhere to widely accepted standards of fair treatment regardless of race, creed, or color. Some of you think that shouldn’t be a problem since no one is forced to send their kids there. They do have a right to know what kind of reactionary non-education their kids are getting so it only seems appropriate for SPLC to point it out. Racists are not required to read Hatewatch so perhaps they should just STFU.

Oh! And you say that blacks have lower IQ’s! Then, please do, explain to me why people pay so much money to listen to Sarah Palin? Personally, I think Meg Whitman has a higher IQ, and to me, I can relate to Meg more and, for sure, have a better conversation with than Sarah. BTW, I know people that are white that are not very bright – yes, these were the ones who dropped out of school to take care of the family, or dropped out of school to work on the family farm/or business. In addition, it is not the blacks that are always duped out of their life savings looking for a quick/get rich scheme. In the meantime, what is it to you if ignorant rednecks who do not want to integrate pay for private, segregated schooling out of their own pockets to avoid it? It’s not like your pocketbooks are being dinged. Why do you have your collective underwear in such a twist? Why would you want these Neanderthals ruining race relations anyway? They won’t ever want to have “honest conversations about race” that Negros so love. Not like you. Maybe what is needed is for a better class of White people, like you, who can appreciate all that delicious diversity (that makes us all so strong) to assimilate.

So … before you try “to do something” about Whites who do not want their children to associate with Negros or go to school with them, why don’t you “do something” new and unheard of? Lead by example by practicing what you preach to those ignorant White racists.

After all, there are no laws against miscegenation anymore. Step up to to the plate; man up (or woman up) as the case may be, marry a Negro and breed little mulatto children. Let YOUR children integrate Negro schools. Encourage YOUR children to date and marry Negros. Move into neighborhoods with all that delicious diversity and expose YOUR families to it.
