    Disabilities would make this even more of an outrage. I hope the judge will allow the testimony of the victim. This may be the only opportunity he has to tell his story in his own words.

    if a victim of a crime is prevented from testifying because of disability, no doubt exacerbated by the crime itself, then 1. the ADA would be violated, and 2. there would be clear and convincing proof that the law and this judge is an ass.
