This GRITS (Girl Raised In The South) was born in Alabama one week after the Montgomery bus boycott began and was raised in Montgomery. I don't take well to anyone telling me what to believe, and I certainly don't take well to some guy I don't know having the nerve to claim to speak for me or to know what I want. I'm quite capable of speaking for myself, and I never learned any of his hatred or bigotry or racism living down here. Perhaps some of us in the South were simply raised better.
