The wife is either deluded or they reached some sort of sick ‘you stand behind me agreement’. With battered or emotionally abused women, it generally takes an average of four to eight tries before they actually leave their abuser.

I wonder if she agreed to stand behind him publicly for some sort of financial benefit that we haven’t heard about.

He loved the money he would gain much more. Someone needs to sit down with his wife and let her listen to and view the evidence for hours after she has calmed down.
I saw her on a local news report.

Many WN men like him, who see women as something for their own personal entertainment and care, are attracted to mail-order bride services. Naturally they will claim that the fault lies with American women, feminism, etc., but in reality somewhere in their mind they think here is a poor girl that will be a loving wife for economic reasons. With that attitude they should save themselves the time and money by picking up homeless girls in their local park.

Anyway, because of that I certainly hope that girl WAS a scammer and it’s too bad she didn’t take him for every penny.
