Blacks and well as Jewish people were not able to live wherever they wanted. As far as donations, I think you also need to take a look at loans, or any other business we were able to get - honestly, do you think that whites gave us loans, when blacks couldn't marry a white person, or go to their restaurants and eat with everyone - no, blacks had to enter through the back, and for the music business, blacks couldn't perform at certain venues, and when they finally got record deals, they couldn't put their faces on the album covers. It was Jewish people who participated in our fight for civil rights (there was whites as well), so they were arrested, beaten along with blacks. It was Jewish writers and a guy from Turkey that owned a music label/company that pushed the talents of blacks. Believe it, blacks couldn't play pro-sports even though they were good it. Yes, I'm a big fan of Lenny Kravitz, Carly Simon... As far as NOI, I'm multi-racial, with the one-drop rule, I'm black.
