If this is your idea of an effective psy-ops strategy, your knowledge of your enemy may not in fact be sufficient for winning a thousand battles. Or even one battle. I really hope you answer Ruslan’s question about the governments that the US is imposing on Iraq and Afghanistan, though I admit it might be difficult, such cooperation does have trouble fitting easily into the Clash of the Civilizations worldview that tries to fit the world’s politics onto a map more suited to a game of Risk than to one with thousands of years of complex history.

The difference is that many of the Indian soldiers were employed with the British army by their own free will, whereas the victims of the above product are likely to be killed involuntarily. Nevertheless, I do not see how being shot at by a bullet smeared with pork fat can be used against you if you are being judged after you die………

Congratulations, you just topped Jackson for the most ignorant comment on this blog entry. Here you are telling us to read the Koran, when several of us have posted the Muslim halal requirements for food- thus proving that this “psy-op” is ridiculous(because coming into contact with pork involuntarily is not haram) and actually hurts the US military. Remember the part about how the US is trying to prop up a government in Afghanistan and how they are training and working with the Afghan army? Guess what religion all them people are?

And I’d like you to post the exact verses where the Koran says the things you claim here.

I would hope the US military will issue directives to our service men and women not to buy this junk or anything like it. It puts both them and humanitarian workers at risk, as has been tragically demonstrated in Afghanistan.

That is not entirely true. His advantage is to try and stir up hatred or at least solidify it in the minds of those who feel as he (she?) does. The advantage for under educated nut jobs like this is in the division it sows…much the same way religion operates.

Our own Intelligence claims that over three thousand American deaths in Iraq are directly attributable to recruiting from Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo torture. Over three thousand.

Putting a pig grease bullet into the mix won’t keep anyone from paradise, but it sure could help recruit some more new insurgents. That kind of ignorant thinking turned Iraq into a shooting gallery of American targets. The maker of this oil is the real hater of US troops since he is the one putting them at greater risk.
