No honest Christian would say that lying is better than homosexuality, or any other sin. All sin is sin. It’s all sin to God.
And who are you to judge the people who want to go to this anti-gay thing? If you judge them for what they believe then you become a hypocrite because you look down on them for thinking homosexual people shouldn’t be allow to be homosexual.
Since this was a free country last time I checked, and that freedom is for everyone, they can think however they like about homosexuals and shouldn’t be getting hate for that.

Leviticus gives multiple stoning levys of sins to heterosexuals but only one stoning levy of sin to homosexuals. When heterosexuals get right with Leviticus, then let’s talk about homosexuals single warning. Heterosexual sins in Leviticus are frivolous and outdated? Puleeeeezzzzeeee. How convenient! Get over it. Let Freedom Ring! Now let’s have a moment of sillence for the citizen opponents of the New York gay marriage law for losing absolutely nothing.

I live in Houston. We have a very strong, involved gay community. Our gay mayor has been elected to city-wide office two times (I think).
Houston citizens will not be impressed with Perry nor his collegues. We know the governor for what he is…an opportunist with superficial values.
I would hope that the event can continue uninterrupted and get wide national coverage. Most people opposed to the issue of gay marriage will be embarrassed by those who say they ’speak for them’.

One of the more nauseating aspects of this sort of nonsense from these politicians is that few if any of them could care less about what people are doing in the privacy of their bedroom, let alone their entertaining even a shred of religious faith. And because it’s all for their own advantage and to the detriment of society and individuals, it really is the definition of antisocial behavior.

The old saying that “scum rises to the top,” really is true, at least more often than not.
