I am not an advocate of the death penalty. However in some cases such as this it is inherently clear this act would be repeated again and again by Mr. Stroman either inside an institution or out. He stated that anger drove him to act out. This may be true but there is also the element of committing a “joy killing” for the simple satisfaction of taking some ones life.

Almost all those convicted of 1st degree murder in TX typically get the death penalty.

I am one who think that TX overuse the death penalty. Most other states use the death penalty only for the more grievous cases.

I am one who believe that the death penalty should be used only if society can not be protected from such murderers short of putting that murderer to death. It is better for the convicted to be put to death than for another innocent person die in the hand of that murderer.

I believe NY State give the death penalty to lifers who commits another murder while in prison.
