Being cannon fodder in Afghanistan would, in the minds of White supremacists, probably be a great way to turn their “racial holy war” fantasy into action. Not that it would make any difference to the poor Afghan villager who thought it was safe to return from the refugee camp, only to get shot in the head, whether the soldier who shot him was a racist or just sucked up the propagandistic social conditioning about “‘Merica’s a-fightin’ fer freeee-dumm”.

I notice you never mentioned the gang members who are entering the military in droves. Just think of what they could do with their new found skills. Derrrrrr

The military at one time carefully screened all applicants, sadly now they let in any Joe Schmoe regardless of any felonies they have on their record.

This is far worse than any one man or woman having “racist” thoughts.

The “antigovernment” (largely a misnomer, as these people would actually prefer some sort of hierarchical authority; they only dislike the US government) views of Kevin Harpham have little relevance, as the bombing was not aimed at a government target, nor would the target be symbolic of the US government. Much the same, the judge is right that any anti-Jewish views that Harpham might have are insignificant, because the MLK rally has nothing to do with Jews.MLK did not argue that Jews were being oppressed and deserved liberation, but that Black people were (though he argued for equality and civil rights for all people). Again, it seems for some reason “politically correct”, or at least more excusable, to hate any group except Jews, but when accused of being “antisemitic”, disliking a religion, you suddenly become a pariah, to be avoided and shunned at all costs. This gives way to the belief that Jews control the world, which is almost surely false (but certainly there is a larger percentage of Jews who are economically better off than, say, Sikhs or Muslims).

Harpham’s action was surely to kill admirers of King, simply because they supported equality for all humankind but especially BLACKS. The struggle for African-American civil rights was what King represented most, and someone like Harpham could have only had this in mind. (Not saying that Farrakhan and other Black Jew-haters are right, though).

I doubt that Alex Linder Is laughing right now…when the reality and gravity of the situation sets in…those that believe in “blood in and blood out” … shed their thin skins to save their own hides…they are hedonists at heart and crumble when the going gets rough…their support system disappears when light is shone on their shady activities…laughing out loud…

Perhaps, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta will take the S.P.L.C.’s serious concerns, regarding known Neo-Nazis serving in the military and receiving weapons and ordnance training, that they could use in civilian life to target their “enemies.” Rumsfeld and Gates offered a deaf ear to these very real concerns…what better way to get away with killing a person of color than enlist, receive advanced training, get stationed in the Middle East, and quietly put notches in your machinegun that you could brag about to like-minded white supremacists as a civilian later…some of these groups have point systems that probably “honor” past points….very sick and demented, but the same goes for someone who builds a bomb to maim and kill wonen and children…
