On January 17th, the day of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr parade in Spokane, my family and I stayed in Colville because I had "some bad vibes" about going to Spokane so we observed Dr. King's birthday at home. Early in the afternoon, I stopped by the Stevens County Prosecutor's Office (509) 684-7500 and left a note for Tim Rasmussen. My note in essence, asked Tim if maybe it would be another 20 years before we had our own observance here in Colville...since that day around here is referred to as "Black Monday." This upcoming trial of Harpham, might help set the stage around here for an observance of Dr. King's birthday next January...and perhaps put a dent in the John Birch Society calendar of events..that is my dream of mine... that I hope comes true...
