You are right on or I should say ultra-right on..the thrill of the kill, on that slippery slope, from thought to deed..kind of reminds me of the joy and sense of accomplishment that Louis R. Beam has written about, when proudly standing in the presence of his Lord and Savior, with a bag of severed heads in each hand…somehow, I think a combination of whiskey and Agent Orange influenced his nose and prose.

They usually have poor impulse control, issues with alcohol and drugs and a poor educational background. With the limited tools they grew up with, these types of people rarely dig very deep or wax very philosophical about their lives. They simply love the feeling of power that association with violent thugs gives them and a few like this kid and his girlfriend, take that one step further and perpetrate violence on their own for violence’ sake.
