I do like your point that a Moslem probably should not trust this guy to train them. And I’m not sure if anyone realy should trust this guy to teach them safety.

Tyrone, leaving aside your alarming anti-Erika prejustice, its always been the law that the government cannot discriminate against people based on religion. Its in the Constitution and everything. Texas issued a license to Keller – if Keller wants to keep his license, he has to follow state law including antidiscrimination laws. Texas also cannot legally license a person they know is violating state and federal law.

Keller would have been perfectly within his right to continue to offer his firearm classes in a discriminatory manner – but Texas could not have legally licensed him. It was therefore in his commercial interest to comply with the law so he could be legally licensed by the state of Texas – but nothing actually forced him to comply with the law.

Then you’ll find better things to do with that 20 hours of free time. To be honest I can’t see much of a difference between you and conservatives. For one, you equate Russia with Iran and North Korea. For one thing, North Korea has much cleaner streets than Russia, with far less dead people on them. But really- it sounds like some conservative who forgot that the USSR broke up. And “love it or leave it?” come on, that is pure conservatism.

Contrary to what the bigot gun instructor, Keller, I made a very careful decision when I voted for Mr. Obama. I heard him speak during the 2004 Democratic convention. I had recorded that speech and still have it archived. He really made an impression with me and I said to my sister, “That man is going to be president someday and I’m going to work for him.”

I am not a Christian, but I do know by reading the Christian book that Jesus was a flaming liberal and probably a socialist to boot. He was a highly educated Jewish scholar and knew the Hebrew scriptures intimately. He quoted Hebrew scripture when he was asked what the greatest commandment was: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and all your resources and love your neighbor as yourself.

Liberals, Christian or not, love their neighbors and get disturbed when their neighbor is in need. Liberals don’t just sit on their haunches and shake their heads as do Conservatives. Conservatives say, I have MINE: Do not touch it. I did everything by myself and I’m going to keep it and if someone else has a need, well, that is THEIR problem.

I can’t and won’t live like that. I live with my sister and her adult daughter. Primarily, we did that to save money but also so we can pool our money to help those who need a hand up at times. The concept of this is MINE and you can’t have any of it just doesn’t make sense to me. My sister and I are on Social Security yet we both have more than we really need, so we contribute to organizations who we feel deserve what little we can share. That includes, the Southern Poverty Law Center.

For the individual who doesn’t seem to like “Merika,” may I suggest you find another country where you might feel more comfortable? Perhaps North Korea or maybe Iran perhaps Russia? I am certain that there are people who would help you leave this country for one you think is better. As for me, this country is not perfect, but it is the best country on the face of this planet.
