I’m not sure I understand the issue. Cam Ward has drafted legislation to ban the practice of Shariah Law; a practice, as Mr. Nelson has stated, that has been ban in various states and that the U.S. Constitution clearly will not allow. So exactly what does the SPLC take issue with; states’ rights or the U.S. Constitution? Or does the SPLC just hate everything the right does?

Its like when our Founding Fathers wrote the religious establishment clause and freedom of practice phrase of the First Amendment, they we’re giving a secret, collective wink to the fundamentalist Christian Rightists of modern day and saying ‘but you [guys] know what we REALLY mean by this:-)…’

Thank God for reality and still rational thinking on the part of the majority of Americans, whatever else our flaws maybe; this legislative nonsense should hopefully drown in its own stupidity before it has any sort of public effect! Being a moderate to progressive, non-denominational Christian gets more insanely frustrating with each passing moment, it seems…
