Again, I have no idea what you’re talking about. The discussion had nothing to do with global warming. Apparently what is warming, or hardening, are the blood vessels in your brain which is leading to apparent dementia due to advanced age.

I never stated that the adjunct divisions were true members of the Allgemaine SS. They were just that- adjunct. But they committed their more than fair share of atrocities, and that’s why I (knowing that it is fully irrational and hypocritical) still hold some degree of animus toward the Albanian people. They didn’t seem to merely join the Waffen-SS, but revel in it. Nice fezzes, though.

I have no idea what your post has to do with the topic at hand, but apparently that legislation was voted down. Except for the aircraft carrier bit, which would be silly of course, they were probably correct– the United States is probably on its way out, at least as we know it, and it might be prudent for the States to strengthen their individual capabilities, at least to be able to defend themselves if needed, with forces under their own command and separate from the Federal government. The downfall probably won’t happen in our lifetimes, but possibly in the lifetime of those children being born now… might as well prepare for the inevitable.

Again, I am speaking of specifically being members of the SS. The American and British “Free Corps” formations, as well as many other foreigners that I mentioned, were as I stated, “adjunct” formations to the Waffen SS. HOWEVER, as I stated before, and will again now, they were NOT members of the SS. As I stated, and will again now, membership in the SS was restricted to GERMAN CITIZENS, or citizens of a very few occupied European countries. Don’t confuse belonging to Waffen-SS formations to being members of the SS, which required exhaustive proof of Germanic/Nordic parentage. That’s why those crazy Indian/Bosnian Muslim/American/British/whatever formations were not allowed to wear the SS runes. Big difference.

One should never forget the American and British ‘Free Corps’ formations within the Waffen-SS. Though they likely never truly existed in any real capacity, there is certainly some evidence to support the theory that some Americans and English deserted to fight for the Germans on the Eastern Front.

Needless the say, the results were appreciably farcical. Also, regarding the volunteer SS divisions, it is because of their countrymen’s contributions to various ‘Einsatzgruppe’-type activities that I was rather opposed to American intervention in Albania. (That being said, the Albanians produced some of the finest Alpine soldiers in the Waffen-SS.)
