This highly biased article demonstrates why somepeople deserve to not be paid attention to.
The man deserves everthing he gets for his violations of the law and the author should be charged with hate crimes for his presentation in this article. But alas, the double standard will probably win out over the law again.

I see that Robert Spencer bought into the NASCAR excuse about the pro-Nazi license plates and used the whole thing as a club to beat CAIR in an entry at his Jihad Watch blog. He later “updated” the entry to note that the Washington Post had published evidence that Story was in fact a racist loon, and commented in typically snarky fashion, “In that case, he deserves whatever he gets from the DMV.” Nice fact-checking, Bobbo.

As a FORMER Republican, I must solidly concur with you. The Republican Party left me at the hour when Mr. Bush jr. took this country into war in Iraq. After that happened, I re-assessed many positions I had taken in political matters. Part of the re-assessment was the conclusion that, to the Republicans, we lawful gun-folk were a dependent constituency whose interests could safely be disregarded or even traduced.

I find it somewhat hypothetical that he(or dangerous loons like him) would drive around with a license plate stating: “Fight Terrorism”.
When in fact, they themselves are terrorists and extremists(domestic/homegrown).

But seriously, what a muppet! Everyone with an assault rifle knows you can’t convert them legally. Everyone knows this is a seriously felony. And yet this guy goes to a _stranger_ and a _friend_ of a stranger to have it done. Why didn’t he just report directly to prison?

BTW, this issue brings up an example of right-wing hypocrisy that is always missed. Conservatives often make a lot of noise about gun rights. Yet they have never, even once, tried to repeal either the National Firearms Act nor the 1989 Assault Weapons Ban. Not even when during the Bush administration they controlled the House, Senate, Presidency and Supreme Court. They are _lying_ about gun rights.

Oh, yeah, they did allow the 1994 Assault Weapon Ban to expire. Weee. I can put a pistol grip on my AK. Wow. :rolleyes:
