Well-known Virginia neo-Nazi and convicted felon Bill White was arrested in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, after nearly a month on the run. He missed a scheduled check-in with his probation officer and disappeared from his home in Lynchburg last month. White, who faces federal charges of violating the terms of his supervised release, is expected to be returned to Roanoke, Va.

Attention, students and lovers of learning: If you’ve been seeking an education with a “moral and nationalist perspective,” unencumbered by government censorship and “political correctness,” your search is finally over. The Roger Sherman Institute (RSI), a new and unusual institute of higher learning that presents a “‘spin’ on America” that “is distinctly nationalist, patriotic, biblical, and constitutional,” this week marked its “inaugural semester,” opening its virtual doors to aspiring scholars everywhere.

Founded in 2012 by an encyclopedia salesman, a movie stuntman, and a building inspector, RSI doesn’t teach “theoretical physics, double-entry accounting, or Freudian voodoo.” Instead, it offers courses on conspiracy theories, farm science and aquaculture, and “the sociotheosphere, where you can learn about historical battles between dominant religions and government.”

RSI was named after Roger Sherman, a Connecticut lawyer who served in the U.S. Senate in the 1790s and signed both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. According to the school’s website, Sherman was “a man of impeccable moral fibre” with an “absolute hatred of paper money,” who “walked to the beat of a vastly different drummer than those who occupy modern Wall Street and Washington, D.C.” ( continue to full post… )

The Internet hacking collective known as Anonymous continued its assault on neo-Nazi and hate group websites Friday by going after Aryan-Front.com, a white supremacist online forum.

Before the website went offline, visitors were greeted with messages such as “Hacked by Anonymous,” “You should have expected us” and “Fuck off, Nazi scum.” Anonymous said it plans to publicly release archived forum posts and private messages lifted from Aryan-Front.com. ( continue to full post… )

With chronic budget shortfalls, dangerously overcrowded prisons and the nation’s biggest municipal bankruptcy filing, we here in Alabama have a lot on our minds.

But at least we can cross one worry off the list: Our property cannot be confiscated by the United Nations or any of its myriad stealth agents in the name of “sustainability,” “smart growth” or “environmentalism.”

For that, we can thank our hard-working state legislators, who in mid-May voted unanimously – yes, they did – in favor of a bill barring the enactment of any policy recommendations traceable to the U.N.’s Agenda 21 that infringe on property rights, at least without “due process.” ( continue to full post… )

Charles Dyer, a former Marine with ties to the antigovernment Oath Keepers, was sentenced to 30 years in prison Tuesday for raping his daughter when she was 6, the Stephens County District Attorney’s office in Oklahoma said.

The sentencing was the final chapter in a case that sparked national attention after Dyer failed to appear for trial last summer and soon afterward issued threatening, conspiracy-theorizing communiqués that left no room to doubt his intentions if police were to catch him. The GOP committee for Luzerne County, Penn., is trying to determine whether it can eject from its ranks a white supremacist who was elected to the committee with only one vote during the state’s April 24 primary election, the Scranton Times Tribune reports.

Steve Smith, a longtime racist activist with a history of violence and top-level ties to numerous white nationalist hate groups, reportedly won the election by writing himself in as a candidate for one of the two committee seats allotted to his district, Pittston City Ward 4.

In a statement released Monday, the Luzerne County GOP Committee denounced Smith’s “abhorrent” and “hateful” views but noted that its bylaws contain no language permitting it to expel a committee member for his or her beliefs. ( continue to full post… )

A federal judge in Washington, D.C., this week dismissed a lawsuit that WorldNetDaily (WND) Editor-in-Chief Joseph Farah filed against Esquire over a satirical article the magazine posted online claiming that Farah had recalled 20,000 copies of Jerome Corsi’s “birther” book.

The article, tagged as “humor,” said that WND was pulping Corsi’s Where’s The Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President. The book was about to go on sale when Obama released his long-form birth certificate, in effect making Farah, WND, Corsi and the title of Corsi’s book look ridiculous. WND’s complaint accused Esquire, reporter Mark Warren and parent company Hearst Communications Inc. of defaming WND and demanded nearly $250 million in damages.

This week, U.S. District Judge Rosemary M. Collyer saw otherwise, ruling that Esquire’s article was protected under the First Amendment as satirical expression related to a matter of public interest. ( continue to full post… )

A detention hearing will be held Monday for a self-described racist from Virginia who allegedly made threats against President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder before illegally taking possession of a machine gun.

Douglas Howard Story, 48, of Manassas, Va., was arrested Wednesday by the FBI in a shopping mall parking lot, after taking delivery of a semi-automatic AK-47 assault rifle that he had paid $125 to have converted to fully automatic, officials said.

At the detention hearing in Alexandria, Va., federal prosecutors are expected to argue that Story poses either a flight risk or a danger to the public, or both, and that he be detained in custody until his federal trial in the Eastern District of Virginia.  He has worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation and lived in Virginia for several years, according to court documents.
