I have to say that I agree Aadila. I don’t take my son to gunshows anymore, nor do I attend them. And I have a Curio and Relic FFL, which means I can purchase certain curio&relic firearms via interstate commerce.

But you know what, I’ve never even used it. I can’t stop running up my credit cards on my kids. :)

But I am very pro-background check. Not a big fan of “personal gun sales”. I think pride gets in the way of good sense in too many cases.

I wish the Sheriff’s Dept. would have approached these anti-government people’s trailer with a SWAT team and an armored vehicle. A regular patrol officer is not equipped to take on assault weapons.

Trading in weapons is not an activity that brings peace or happiness into the world. I feel it is best to refrain and to close the gun-show loophole.
